Awesome Line-up Rocked The Stage of Samsung Galaxy The 27th Golden Disk Awards in Kuala Lumpur D-1 & D-2

South Korea’s most prestigious music award ceremony, Golden Disk Awards dubbed as the Korean Grammy Awards, held their 27th annual ceremony at the F1 Circuit in Sepang, Malaysia this year! Samsung Galaxy The 27th Golden Disk Awards In Kuala Lumpur was held for two days, 15th & 16th January 2013. The much anticipated award ceremony had captivated a lot of attentions from fans of Korean Pop from all around the globe!

The artistes that were invited to the event for Day 1 (15th January 2013, hosted by CNBlue’s Yonghwa & KARA’s Nicole) were INFINITE, B1A4, BTOB, EXO, Juniel, FT Island, CNBlue, BEAST, Kara, SHINee, Super Junior & 4minute while Day 2 (16th January 2013, hosted by FT Island’s Lee Hongki & SISTAR’s Dasom) were attended by T-ara , miss A, Sistar, Huh Gak, f(x), K.will, Secret, G-Dragon, B.A.P, Lee Hi, Ailee, Teen Top, Epik High.

Fans that came to the concert are lucky to witness these star-studded artistes lineup. On Day 1, INFINITE performed “Paradise” in their black singlets that made fans go wild! 12 members group, EXO impressed us with their “MAMA + Ment” stage while SHINee showed us how to take over the overall stage with their amazing and powerful performances and vocals! KARA made the fans go awe as they showed us their astonishing hard work by performing “Pandora” for the second time due to the technical glitch from the first one! Super Junior who has big fanbase filled with fans from all around the World pumped up the night with the medley of “Sexy, Free & Single” and “Mr. Simple”. They even performed “Oppa, Oppa”.

The second day of Samsung Galaxy The 27th Golden Disk Awards In Kuala Lumpur marked the final day of the award ceremony. Hosted by FT Island’s Lee Hongki and SISTAR’s Dasom, the event ended with a success and received great responses from the audiences!

On Day 2, some of the performances highights included Ailee who amazed us with her jaw-dropping cover performance of Rihanna’s “Umbrella”. Petite rookie singer with great vocal, Lee Hi impressed us with her hit debut single, “1,2,3,4” as well as a cover performance of Pixie Lott’s “Mama Do”. SISTAR’s sexy stage made the fanboys go crazy while miss A’s energetic performance made us craving for more! Little giant, Huh Gak’s soothed out the crowd a little with his beautiful, melodious voice. Moreover, B.A.P ‘wow-ed’ the crowds and captivated the attentions of female fans, especially. Epik High’s energetic performances kept the crowd pumping especially when G-Dragon join in for a song! Like they say, save the last for the best, G-Dragon of BIG BANG appeared on the stage and rocked out the prestigious award ceremony as if its his own solo concert! PSY, unfortunately, couldn’t attend the event to receive his “Song of the Year” award due to other schedules. The award ceremony was wrapped up with a video message from PSY and the famous “Gangnam Style” was played.
